Limehurst has an excellent Careers curriculum aimed at helping students to take control of their futures. Our vision statement is to use the Gatsby Benchmarks to consistently support, engage and raise the aspirations of every student. We want to help them to understand the world of work and to achieve their potential in their chosen pathway.
Our Careers provision is delivered across the school through the Citizenship curriculum, Personal Development, targeted intervention and throughout the subject curricula.
We offer independent Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance for our students. There is also support in school from the Key Stage 4 team. We have a Careers Hub in the Learning Resource Centre.
Information about our Careers provision can be viewed above in the various sections of the tree. Students are tracked throughout their time at Limehurst to record job sector interests and the targeted career activities and experiences they receive. Their careers work and different events are recorded on Unifrog.
The school’s Careers Leader is Miss Aldridge.
If you wish to contact Miss Aldridge, please email haldridge@limehurst.org.uk or call 01509 263444.
