The North Charnwood Learning Partnership School Direct programme is a one-year school-based teacher training programme run in Partnership with the Universities of Leicester and Loughborough and awards Qualified Teacher Status with a Postgraduate Certificate of Education. We train secondary teachers in a range of subjects, offering the opportunity for rewarding careers in the future.
If you are interested in training to teach, please come along to the event below to find out more about the North Charnwood Learning Partnership (NCLP). The lead school is Limehurst Academy and partnership schools are Castle Donington College, Charnwood College, Hind Leys College, Humphrey Perkins School, Maplewell Hall School, Shepshed High School, Rawlins Academy and Woodbrook Vale.
Train to Teach Information Event
Tuesday 7th February 2017
4:00 – 6:00pm held at Limehurst Academy, Loughborough
You will have the opportunity to find out more about the School Direct route into teaching, meet students currently on the programme and gain valuable advice on the application process. We will also provide information on bursaries and scholarships which are available for many trainees. Representatives from both the University of Leicester and Loughborough University will be on hand to offer advice.
Information on Primary Education will be provided by the LLA (Loughborough Learning Alliance) who are accredited by the University of Derby.
